Turning Back Time in Menar: Birds, A Village, and a 150-Year-Old Legend
Menar’s wetland may today be recognised as a Ramsar Site of International Importance, but its tradition of protecting birds stretches back centuries. Our animated film narrates a 150-year-old local legend, featuring a French traveller and hunter, Menar’s birds, and the courage and hospitality of its people, showing how love for its winged guests is passed down through generations.
The film has been directed by Darshan Menaria, a local and Pakshi Mitra, in collaboration with the Roundglass Team.
