Microhierax caerulescens

Where is the collared falconet found? 

In India - Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur. It is also found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam.

What does the collared falconet eat? 

Insects, such as butterflies, moths, dragonflies and beetles. It may also eat small birds.
