In what kind of habitat is the forest owlet found? 

Forest owlets are found in lowland forests (200-600 m elevation), most sighted in plantations of teak, dry and moist deciduous forests. 

What do forest owlets eat?

They eat rodents, reptiles such as lizards and skinks, and insects.

Where is the forest owlet found in India? 

The forest owlet is found in parts of Maharashtra and bordering areas in Madhya Pradesh and southern Gujarat.
