Where is the little grebe found?

The little grebe is fairly common and found in freshwater wetlands with vegetation on the edges. This litte diving bird is found all over the country in India, except in the higher reaches of the Himalayas. They are occur in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia.

What is the little grebe called?                                                      

The little grebe is also known as Dabchick. 

What do little grebes eat? 

Their diet usually consists of aquatic invertebrates, larvae, molluscs, crustaceans, frogs and small fishes.
