What do upland buzzards eat? 

Upland buzzards hunt prey by surveying in flight or after it spotting from a perch. They feed mainly on rodents like ground squirrels, voles, gerbils, pikas, and young marmots. Also, hares, small terrestrial birds, birds’ eggs, amphibians, and large insects.
