We are looking for a Social Media Writer who will work alongside Editorial and Marketing to create content for social media. They will also work on offline campaigns to promote Sustain’s work with a wider audience. The person will be required to immerse in Sustain’ s content, imbibe its ethos of respect for ethics, facts, and creators, and reflect that in the voice with which Sustain speaks to its community. They will write posts, stories, scripts, comments, replies that reflect Sustain’s knowledge and authority.
The candidate will stay aware of the work carried out by Sustain’s community of content creators and experts and the organizations they work with to find ways to collaborate and support their work. You will work closely with the content team to brainstorm and innovate.
What you’ll do:
Understand the brand’s voice and maintain consistency across all content for Sustain’s outreach, online or offline.
Write for a variety of formats (captions, scripts, carousels, short videos, reels, threads) for all social media channels.
Ideate and create interactive content such as quizzes, polls, contests based on Sustain’s stories.
Assist in creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote Sustain’s content on various social media platforms.
Engage with readers and audience through comments on social media.
Assist in submitting Sustain’s content for awards, festivals and competitions.

We are looking for a Photo Researcher who will work with the editorial team, alongside the marketing team to create visual content for Sustain’s stories, social media and other projects. They will have the ability to weave visual narratives, by bringing together photographs to build a coherent story. They will work with Sustain’s existing database of wildlife and conservation photographers, while expanding this database to include new and upcoming photographers. They will also work closely with the photo editor and the editorial team to brainstorm and curate stories, campaigns and related projects. They will be required to immerse in Sustain’s content, commitment to ethics, accuracy, and respect for creators, and ensure this resonates through every interaction with the community.
What you’ll do:
Source and edit photos for the website and social media channels.
Archive, organize, catalogue and upload all images/still visual content on cloud storage and digital asset management system.
Work with the editorial team to collaborate on stories and other projects.
Help with expanding existing database of photographers

Who we’re looking for:
Someone with 3+ years of work experience in photography, media or relevant field.
Must be proficient in Adobe Lightroom and/or Adobe Photoshop
Has a sound sense of visual aesthetics and storytelling.
Has knowledge of digital and social content.
Is highly organized, detail oriented, and good communication skills.
Has the ability to contribute to editorial decisions and support the development of visual stories across all platforms.
Has in-depth knowledge of copyrights and licensing of visuals.
Has knowledge of the ethics of wildlife photography.
Has a degree in photography, visual arts, or similar.
