Our Impact

At Roundglass Sustain, we measure success in the connections we nurture—with nature, with each other, and with the future we’re helping shape. Our stories go beyond the screen to to classrooms, forest outposts, community halls, libraries, festivals, and homes. They spark curiosity, shift perspectives, and drive meaningful, lasting change.
As India hurtles towards progress, there is an urgency to our documentation of India’s biodiversity, spotlighting little-known species and underappreciated habitats so that we stay cognizant of the potential impact of our decisions. Our extensive and growing repository serves as an awareness and educational resource and as a reminder of our times. Whether it is building awareness around cave ecosystems in Meghalaya or the threats to the landscape where the last 150 great Indian bustards survive, owe ensure these stories stay on the forefront.

Nature in the Classroom

We believe that conservation begins with awareness. Through immersive, multimedia resources, we bring the natural world into classrooms—igniting curiosity, empathy, and ecological thinking in students and educators alike.
  • Film Screening Toolkits: Ready-to-use multimedia kits to facilitate classroom screenings and discussion.
  • Infographics: Visually engaging resources for quick learning.
  • Thematic Toolkits: Thematic learning linked to curricula, designed to connect classrooms with conservation.

Friends of Sustain

Our stories are told in collaboration with ecologists, filmmakers, educators, artists, and local champions—all driven by a shared love for nature and a belief in the power of stories to transform. We nurture homegrown voices who are writing and making films about India’s biodiversity, wildlife, and the climate crisis through their own distinct perspective – one that is inclusive of the communities, language, and cultural identities.

Tool for Conservation

Our storytelling supports conservation in a variety of ways. It is used by conservation organisations to inform communities and catalyse support for their conservation efforts. Stories of inspiring examples of community and individual stewardship of wild spaces across India sows hope and seeds inspiration for others around the country. We build capacity for biodiversity communication through upskilling regional storytellers, conservations, and scientists via workshops at colleges, conservation organisation, environmental festivals. From catalysing community-based conservation in Manipur for a threatened pheasant to awareness screenings under the Travel4Life mission, to enabling local communities in Rajasthan to dialogue with legislators and policymakers through our film, we strive to use our storytelling to herp arrest the decline of species and habitats in our country
