InSeason Fish regularly works with fishing communities along India’s coasts. A recent study on the economic value of sharks and rays found that many fishers struggle to identify species protected under Indian law. This often leading to their inadvertent capture. This video series, created for dissemination among coastal communities, aims to help fishers recognise species that are commonly landed and understand what they can do to prevent their capture.
