Where is the grey-capped pygmy woodpecker found in India? 

In India, the woodpecker is found in the Himalayan range states - Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram. 

What are the subspecies of the grey-capped pygmy woodpecker? 

There are three subspecies of the grey-capped pygmy woodpecker (Yungipicus canicapillus) in India - Y c mitchelli, Y c canicapillus, Y c semicoronatus 

What do grey-capped pygmy woodpeckers eat? 

They are primarily insectivorous,  they eat caterpillars, beetles, ants, grubs, pupae and (occasionally) plant matter.
