What are other names of the red panda? 

Red panda is also known as firefox, lesser panda, cat-bear, bear-cat, Himalayan raccoon and fox bear. 

Are there red pandas in India? 

Yes, red pandas are found in West bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh in India. They are also found in Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and China.

What do red pandas eat? 

Leaves and tender shoots of bamboo make 95% of a red pandas diet. They also eat fruits, berries, roots, succulent grasses, insects, ocassionally birds and small mammals.
