Is the Asiatic black bear same as the Himalayan black bear? 

The Asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus) is sometimes called the Himalayan black bear, but the latter is actually a subspecies (Ursus thibetanus laniger) with thicker, longer fur and a smaller chest patch.

How do Asiatic black bear communicate? 

Asiatic black bear communicate using behaviour and scent-marking (they may urinate, defecate and rub against trees for other bears to read). 

Do Asiatic black bear hibernate? 

Yes, they may hibernate or move to lower elevations in winter. The Asiatic black bear who live at higher elevations may fatten up for hibernation. They are found in higher elevations during the summer.
