What is a mudskipper? 

Mudskippers are intertidal, air-breathing amphibious fish that skip or walk on land. They belong to the family of gobies. 

Where are mudskippers found? 

Mudskippers are found in mangroves and mudflats across the globe (except Americas) 

What is the ecosystem role of mudskippers? 

Mudskippers are considered potential bioindicators, especially for montoring heavy metla pollution in the water. Changes in their growth are early warning signals of ecosystem degradation.
