Wildlife Puzzle: Jewel Beetle

Purna Wildlife Sanctuary (PWS) in Gujarat's Dang district is relatively unknown on the wildlife traveller's map. It marks the beginning of Western Ghats and is composed with valleys, hillocks and plateaus. PWS receives more than 250 cm of rainfall, which is unlike the rest of Gujarat. As a result, the landscape transforms and comes alive during monsoons. The rainwater creates microhabitat of many critters, who are essential to the ecosystem.
