What are the calls of the green cochoa?

Green cochoa's have a high, thin, even-sounding whistle that lasts about two seconds. Often call repeatedly, but it is difficult to locate them by sound.

Where is the green cochoa found?

They are found in India, Myanmar, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. In India, the green cochoa occurs in Sikkim, northern West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, and south Assam hills. They are migratory or nomadic in Northeast India, and a summer breeding visitor in Eastern Himalayas from March to August.

In what kind habitat can you find the green cochoa?

Green cochoa's prefer dense moist broadleaf evergreen forests. They usually occupy the canopy and middle storey. The birds are often found near small streams at altitudes of 700–1,800 m.
